More about me

MY TIME IN BRINNON

I spent many summers during my youth on Hood Canal. Ten years ago, I purchased a small cabin and made visits during time off from my regular jobs. I worked in education as a school principal and as a representative for Scholastic Publishing Company. This past year I sold the home in Lake Stevens and have now moved full time to Brinnon. I am active on the Brinnon School Board and help publish the Brinnon Crier, local newspaper for the Senior Organization. I also served on the Lake Stevens City Council for years. I am starting my 4th year in real estate in this area. I also worked in real estate in the early 70's.
I do know the area well. I also have helped clients find property in Quilcene, Pt.Ludlow, Chimacum, and Port Townsend.

MY COMMITMENT

I will provide you with the service that you expect from a real estate broker who has integrity. Once we connect and meet, I will serve and support you until you find that right piece of real estate. In this competitive market, you will need a broker who will tirelessly keep looking for your new purchase, confirming that each new piece that comes on the market has what you need.
I can help locate that piece of waterfront property, the cabin in the woods, a home in a community, or that piece of vacant land for a camp site now or for a future building.

WHAT LIVING ON THE OLYMPIC PENINSULA HAS TO OFFER

I moved here to get away from the endless traffic and high taxes. Living on the Olympic Peninsula is a perfect place for retirement or for young folks who want to work from home. Brinnon is very small with a school, post office, grocery and gas station, fire station, garden nursery, storage areas, some places to eat and many campgrounds. The Book Mobile comes twice a week. Major shopping is approximately 45 miles away in each direction with national stores, theaters, and cultural activities. (Port Townsend, Shelton, Sequim, Silverdale).
Olympia can be reached by driving south for about an hour on Highway 101, which is very scenic and not very crowded with vehicles. If you enjoy abundant seafood, we have it all here. (Fish, clams, oysters, shrimp, and crab). Hiking is close by in the Olympic National Forest and Park. Victoria, Canada can be visited by taking the ferry from Port Angeles, either by car or by foot. Forks, the location for the movie series Twilight, is just a few hours drive away. Once in that area, you can visit a real rain forest. Visiting the Pacific Ocean is also nearby and a great place to explore.

More about me
My wife and I had a vacation place on Hood Canal for years and fell in love with the natural beauty of the area. The combination of the sea, the mountains, the rivers, the lush forest, and the temperate climate make this an extraordinary place. In some ways, it feels like Alaska, but with a kinder gentler climate and closer to a metropolitan city.
About 8 years ago, my wife and I decided to leave our city world behind and move out to the Hood Canal area full-time. Since, we have owned several different homes along Hood Canal and I have sold real estate, hiked, and boated the area a fair amount. Consequently, I know every nook and cranny of the area very well and can help you find the perfect place or sell the place you have.
For years I have consistently been one of the areas top real estate performers. I attribute my success to an extensive real estate/business background and knowledge of the area. It also helps to treat your clients the way you would like to be treated (be responsive, communicate, work with integrity, and get the job done). Pretty simple really, look forward to working with you.

My goal is to have each and every one of my clients making a real estate decision that is in their best interest. Honesty and integrity are values that I hold dear, these are not empty words -- you will be treated as I would desire to be treated! Experience Counts.....

I was honored by my fellow Realtors in 2003 with the "Realtor of the Year Award" for Jefferson County. In 2006, I was again honored by my fellow Brokers as their representative on the NWMLS Board of Directors. These honors were achieved through the professional practice of real estate and a commitment to community service. I have 16 years of real estate experience in Jefferson County plus 20 years of experience in the finance industry -- I bring these valuable assets to my real estate career. Success in the real estate industry can be measured in many ways but the most important measurement is the referrals from previous clients who were satisfied with my efforts on their behalf -- my business thrives on these referrals. I have several years experience selling all types of properties -- from vacant lots and acreage parcels, vacation/second homes, first time homes, to magnificent waterfront properties. You can count on my experience and expertise to serve you in all of your real estate needs.

More about me
My husband Tim and I moved to Hood Canal in 2009 as a design - build team, fell in love with the serene living here and made our work and home in Brinnon ever since. Together, we share over 70 years of experience in multiple facets of real estate investing, land development, custom and speculative home building and design, project assistance and management, remodeling, and redesign of interior and exterior residential or mixed-use buildings in the greater Seattle and Olympic Peninsula areas.

It was only natural we combine our knowledge and expertise in these areas with real estate services. In 2014, we became licensed Real Estate Brokers with Windermere Hood Canal, Brinnon.
Careful and intimate exchange with our clients, helping them to realize their dream homes, from finding suitable land to planning and designing their perfect living spaces to executing the many processes to experience their joy upon move-in has given me years of experience and understanding in the largely emotional process not unlike the real estate purchase and sale experience. It was only natural to combine my knowledge and expertise in these areas with real estate services. In 2014, I became a licensed Real Estate Broker with Windermere ~ Hood Canal, Brinnon.

I lend valuable insight and direction to questions clients have when looking to buy or sell. With a continuing growing knowledge of the local real estate market trends and growth patterns, as well as experience with governing county development agencies, I can help with unique needs and protect a client’s best interests through every aspect of the real estate and/or proposed building transaction.

I share the goal of achieving the maximum possible price, and selling quickly and efficiently. From the moment my clients list with Windermere ~ Hood Canal, I guide them in the selling process — managing every detail of the sale from property marketing, to providing continuous feedback and ensuring a stress-free process after a contract is in place.
Selling a property means the careful orchestration of advertising, marketing and public relations. My goal is to reach precisely the right target audience through key local and national print ads and online media.

I am dedicated to finding precisely the right property for my buyers. For my sellers, that means better screening – and more buyers, precision-matched to your property.

I can help clients best prepare their vacant land, vacation property or primary residence
for market, better insuring highest value. As a Windermere Real Estate Agent, I am focused on providing my clients with the most personal attention and best service available.
I am a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Jefferson County Association of Realtors (JCAR) and the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS).

I have served on multiple, local community boards and remain on the North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce, Vice President. Through my years of service, my involvement with various non-profit service organizations has provided many opportunities locally and internationally, bringing insight to our global world beyond our own backyard.

Tim and I share seven grown children and thirteen grandchildren who we enjoy and continue to be amazed by their own contributions to their world around them.
