More about me

After attending the University of Washington to study History and English, I moved to Jefferson County in 2011. Enchanted with the beauty and the immediate proximity of the majestic Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound, I knew I had found my new home.

Having spent seven years working tirelessly, and enthusiastically, as a kitchen manager, saucier, sushi chef and more, I look forward to putting that same dedication, eye for detail and inexhaustible work ethic to work for you.

Whether buying or selling, I am committed to providing my clients with prompt and succinct communication, making their needs and concerns a top priority, and I have a drive to strive for excellence. With more than 19 years of customer service experience I know how to prioritize, negotiate, organize and set my clients up for success.

More about me

MY TIME IN BRINNON

I spent many summers during my youth on Hood Canal.  In 2005, I purchased a small cabin in Brinnon and made visits during time off from my regular jobs. I worked in education as a school principal and as a representative for Scholastic Publishing Company.  I sold the home in Lake Stevens and moved into a fulltime home in  Brinnon in 2014. I am active on the Brinnon School Board and  publish the Brinnon Crier, local newspaper for the Senior Organization. I also served on the Lake Stevens City Council for years. I have been active in real esate in the Brinnon area since 2009. I also worked in real estate in the early 70's.  I may be "retired" from my early careers but have not retired in my real estate activities.
I do know the area well. I also have helped clients find property in Port Townsend,  Quilcene,  Hoodsport, and Shelton.

MY COMMITMENT

I will provide you with the service that you expect from a real estate broker who has integrity. Once we connect and meet, I will serve and support you until you find that right piece of real estate. In this competitive market, you will need a broker who will tirelessly keep looking for your new purchase, confirming that each new piece that comes on the market has what you need.
I can help locate that piece of waterfront property, the cabin in the woods, a home in a community, or that piece of vacant land for a camp site now or for a future building.  I will contribute 5% of my net commissions to local non-profits and organizations.

WHAT LIVING ON THE OLYMPIC PENINSULA HAS TO OFFER

I moved here to get away from the endless traffic and high taxes. Living on the Olympic Peninsula is a perfect place for retirement or for young folks who want to work from home. Brinnon is very small with a school, post office, grocery store and gas station, fire station, garden nursery, storage areas, some places to eat and many campgrounds. The Book Mobile comes twice a week. Major shopping is approximately 45 miles away in each direction with national stores, theaters, and cultural activities. (Port Townsend, Shelton, Sequim, Silverdale).
Olympia can be reached by driving south for about an hour on Highway 101, which is very scenic and not very crowded with vehicles. If you enjoy abundant seafood, we have it all here. (Fish, clams, oysters, shrimp, and crab). Hiking is close by in the Olympic National Forest and Park. Victoria, Canada can be visited by taking the ferry from Port Angeles, either by car or by foot. Forks, the location for the movie series Twilight, is just a few hours drive away. Once in that area, you can visit a real rain forest. Visiting the Pacific Ocean is also nearby and a great place to explore.

More about me
I grew up in my family owned and operated business, the Twana Roadhouse, in scenic Quilcene, WA, located on the Olympic Peninsula.  My parents purchased the rundown "Quilcene Café" in 1995 and as a family project along with my five siblings, we worked tirelessly to transform and fix the building to be an operable business again opening the café in 1996. From the age of 2, I grew up admiring, watching, learning and helping my mother manage the customer service business that became a part of who I am. I loved the daily interaction serving the public and I knew from this early age I would in some way have a career working with the public.
I graduated from Quilcene High School where my passion for softball, basketball and volleyball gave me a busy and fulfilling high school experience. It was at this time I really grew to love my community through the support and love they showed me as a young adult. When I wasn't busy with sports, I worked in the café where I saved and purchased my first vehicle before I turned 16. After graduation, I spent two summers in Sitka, Alaska, working in the marine and service industries but my heart led me back to my friendly small hometown.
I love the Olympic Peninsula with all the beauty and intrigue it has to offer! From fishing, boating, kayaking, crabbing, mountaineering, I do it all and I am always excited to explore a new viewpoint that reminds me I live in one of the most gorgeous places on earth. In 2017, I joined the Windermere real estate team when I decided this career is the perfect way to share my love for where I live and to share my passion as to why I feel blessed to have grown up in its endless beauty.  Along with my husband and two fur babies, I look forward to building a future that includes a family and being a part of the Windermere team that can help you with all your real estate needs!
