I spent many summers during my youth on Hood Canal. Ten years ago, I purchased a small cabin and made visits during time off from my regular jobs. I worked in education as a school principal and as a representative for Scholastic Publishing Company. This past year I sold the home in Lake Stevens and have now moved full time to Brinnon. I am active on the Brinnon School Board and help publish the Brinnon Crier, local newspaper for the Senior Organization. I also served on the Lake Stevens City Council for years. I am starting my 4th year in real estate in this area. I also worked in real estate in the early 70's.
I do know the area well. I also have helped clients find property in Quilcene, Pt.Ludlow, Chimacum, and Port Townsend.
I will provide you with the service that you expect from a real estate broker who has integrity. Once we connect and meet, I will serve and support you until you find that right piece of real estate. In this competitive market, you will need a broker who will tirelessly keep looking for your new purchase, confirming that each new piece that comes on the market has what you need.
I can help locate that piece of waterfront property, the cabin in the woods, a home in a community, or that piece of vacant land for a camp site now or for a future building.
I moved here to get away from the endless traffic and high taxes. Living on the Olympic Peninsula is a perfect place for retirement or for young folks who want to work from home. Brinnon is very small with a school, post office, grocery and gas station, fire station, garden nursery, storage areas, some places to eat and many campgrounds. The Book Mobile comes twice a week. Major shopping is approximately 45 miles away in each direction with national stores, theaters, and cultural activities. (Port Townsend, Shelton, Sequim, Silverdale).
Olympia can be reached by driving south for about an hour on Highway 101, which is very scenic and not very crowded with vehicles. If you enjoy abundant seafood, we have it all here. (Fish, clams, oysters, shrimp, and crab). Hiking is close by in the Olympic National Forest and Park. Victoria, Canada can be visited by taking the ferry from Port Angeles, either by car or by foot. Forks, the location for the movie series Twilight, is just a few hours drive away. Once in that area, you can visit a real rain forest. Visiting the Pacific Ocean is also nearby and a great place to explore.
The Hood Canal region of the Olympic Peninsula is where I have chosen to live. It is truly heaven on earth. The lifestyle is friendly, relaxed and rural yet we are within close proximity to major shopping centers and the cultural events offered locally and in the greater Seattle metropolitan area. If you would like your own slice of Hood Canal heaven, I welcome the opportunity to introduce you to our wonderful region!

I was honored by my fellow Realtors in 2003 with the "Realtor of the Year Award" for Jefferson County. In 2006, I was again honored by my fellow Brokers as their representative on the NWMLS Board of Directors. These honors were achieved through the professional practice of real estate and a commitment to community service. I have 16 years of real estate experience in Jefferson County plus 20 years of experience in the finance industry -- I bring these valuable assets to my real estate career. Success in the real estate industry can be measured in many ways but the most important measurement is the referrals from previous clients who were satisfied with my efforts on their behalf -- my business thrives on these referrals. I have several years experience selling all types of properties -- from vacant lots and acreage parcels, vacation/second homes, first time homes, to magnificent waterfront properties. You can count on my experience and expertise to serve you in all of your real estate needs.
